Influx is the culmination of work from 2nd Year Foundation Degree Students at the University of Brighton. The work itself is a realisation of the students’ interest in contemporary photographic practice.

The students have all worked in a professional capacity from internships at Photoworks to work on magazines such as House and Gardens to developing their own arts practice. Working with other design artists, web designers and within the field of teaching demonstrates the diversity and depth that these students have in the world of photography.

The Foundation Degree enables students to either continue with their education to a 3rd year of a BA (Hons) or to use their skills as a Professional Photographer. Of the students that are represented here, 3 have confirmed places at Universities, another 3 are awaiting confirmation of places, 1 will be developing a career in the field of forensic photography and the rest are either working with Professional photographers or are developing their portfolios through travel and documentary photography.
